## Materials

- Lamellar (grey) graphite iron: EN-GJL-200, EN-GJL-250, EN-GJL-300 (EN 1561; DIN GG 20 / GG 25 / GG 30).
- Nodular (ductile) graphite iron: EN-GJS-400-18, EN-GJS-400-18-LT, EN-GJS-400-15, EN-GJS-500-7, EN-GJS-600-3, EN-GJS-700-2 (EN 1563).

## Production capabilities

- Design: technological design and casting simulation with CAD-CAM-CAE systems.
- Pattern shop: all patterns and core boxes made in-house from wood.
- Molding: furan resin sand; two mechanized lines for castings up to 7,000 kg; one manual pit-molding line for castings up to 40,000 kg.
- Melting: three 12.5-ton induction crucible furnaces and two 55-ton induction holding furnaces; magnesium wire treatment for nodular iron.
- Cleaning: vibrating shake-out and shot blasting.
- Heat treatment: stress relieving (parts up to 35,000 kg, up to 8,000 x 3,000 x 1,700 mm) and normalization.
- Machining: rough machining on lathes, carousel lathes, portal milling machines (parts up to 16 tons, 9,000 mm) and boring and milling machines (parts up to 20 tons, 13,000 mm).
- Surface protection: primer painting against corrosion.

## Quality and certification

- ISO 9001:2015, certified by TÜV SÜD Germany.
- In-house laboratory: optical emission spectrometers and carbon/sulphur analysis for every batch, thermal analysis of liquid iron, tensile and Charpy impact tests, hardness testing, microstructure analysis.
- Casting inspection: visual, dye penetrant, ultrasonic and dimensional control.
- Each delivery comes with a certificate of conformity and a Type 3.1 inspection certificate (mechanical properties and chemical composition); each casting is marked for traceability.
